Synopsis In "another stunning display of ice-skating mastery," Sonja Henie stars in this delightful romantic comedy featuring her dazzling skating routines, a rousing musical score played by the Woody Herman Orchestra and "an imposing array of topline comics. " (Hollywood Reporter) The rundown Chateau Promenade is nearly bankrupt when its press agent (Jack Oakie) hears that a millionaire and his niece Nora (Henie) plan to visit a rival hotel. He brings them instead to the Promenade where Nora is immediately smitten with Freddy (Cornel Wilde), the resort's handsome owner. Determined to win his affection, she convinces her uncle to finance the hotel's restoration, a plan that seems to work until a pretty editor shows up with plans to steal Freddy away.
