THE FIRST LADY OF THE ICE
Scintillating Sonja Henie returns to the Chicago Stadium December 23 with her brilliant Hollywood Ice Revue.
Miss Henie, the petite, beautiful blond whose blades flashed across the continent to ten world's championships and three Olympic titles, has become synonymous with all that is grace and beauty of the frozen stage.
The Sonja Henie 1950 Hollywood Ice Revue includes a company of 200. There are 27 acts, and will feature eight huge production numbers. The Revue will play through January 16 with special matinees on December 24th and December 31.

This may be the first picture of Sonja Henie printed in the US. It's from the Sunday Rotogravure section of The New York Times, March 4, 1928. The caption reads, "A 16-year-old girl takes the highest honors at St. Moritz: Miss Sonja Henie of Norway, who won the Figure Skating title in the Olympics, defeating Miss Beatrix Loughran of the United States team, the favorite."
